Nick Bevilacqua speaks at the Wood WORKS! BC Workshop on January 16, 2023

Wood Works! BC is hosting a 4-hour workshop for architects, engineers, school planning officials and building officials on timber technologies for school design. This workshop explores how wood-built schools can boost students’ well-being, cut carbon, speed up construction and offer flexible, earthquake-resistant design.

Fast + Epp Managing Principal, Nick Bevilacqua, will be presenting on Structural Considerations for Mass Timber Schools and co-presenting on Design Options for 3 and 4 Storeys Wood Schools. The workshop will be followed by a tour of Bayview Elementary School in Vancouver, BC.
