Nick Bevilacqua presents at the Atlantic WoodWORKS! Wood in Schools workshop

Atlantic WoodWORKS! is presenting a ‘Wood in Schools’ workshop on Oct 19th (Moncton) and Oct 20th (Halifax). Participants will learn about a variety of wood uses in educational facilities, explore challenges and opportunities of using wood, durability, biophilic design, and more. This event’s for architects, engineers, school planning officials and facility managers who play a role in building tomorrow’s centres of learning.

Managing Principal, Nick Bevilacqua, will present on Structural Considerations for Mass Timber Schools. He will also share findings of our 2022 Wood Use in British Columbia Schools report alongside co-author Ray Wolfe from Thinkspace Architecture.
