Commendation for Tsingtao Pearl Visitor’s Centre

Celebrating international excellence in structural engineering, Fast + Epp’s Tsingtao Pearl Visitors’ Centre has received a commendation from England’s Institution of Structural Engineers.

The visitor centre in Qingdao, China was recognized at the 2013 Structural Awards gala in London on November 15th in the Community – Residential Structures category.

“The designers have achieved an exceptional building against a backdrop of unease over possible construction practice and a very challenging timeline,” the judges said of the project.
