Mass Timber: Knowing Your Options

Engineers Ian Boyle and Bernhard Gafner represented Fast + Epp at the annual Architectural Institute of BC Conference on October 24, delivering a presentation to local and international architects and engineers on the exciting potential of mass timber structural systems.

Their presentation — part of AIBC’s “Sea of Change: Architecture on the Crest” conference at the Vancouver Convention Centre — was entitled “Mass Timber: Knowing Your Options.” It featured information on the wide range of laminated timber options available to today’s designer, including advantages and limitations.
