New: Mass Timber Construction report by BC Housing

The Mass Timber construction report from BC Housing has just been released, containing months of groundbreaking research that highlights the power and potential of mass timber in construction.

Fast + Epp’s Jamie Pobre Sullivan and Yury Kulikov contributed to the study, which explores the value of using encapsulated mass timber construction in 7-12 storey buildings to help address the demand for affordable housing, while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The report shares lessons learned on energy efficiency, cost savings, schedule speed and code implications.
